Welcome to the world of the Linge Family History.

I started this research back in the mid 1990s when it was found out that my then father-in-Law had cancer and sadly he passed away in the June of 1995, so this research has grown from there.

I am a registered researcher with the Guild of One Name Studies (No 3549)

I have registered three names, Linge plus two other variations Lynge and Lingo, the main reason I have listed Lynge is because this variation crops up in different entries, in many different indexes. So any information you might have about these names Linge, Lynge and Lingo that I am researching I would love to hear from you.

My databases of information are growing all the time, I have collected entries up to year 2005 for the UK Births, Marriages and Deaths indexes. Plus I have a growing collection of names and details for the UK Censuses which is where I can cross link to the BMD indexes, including where I can I have a growing collection of parish records to name but a few.
